On 3/10/2017 at 06:25 am Station 40, 60, 70 & PM 94 was alerted for a residential structure fire at 7880 Quaker Neck Road. Chief 40, (P Jones) arrived on location with a single family dwelling with heavy fire showing. Due to the fire load a second alarm was requested bringing Station 20, 30, 50. E-49 arrived pulling a 2½" attack line and made entry through the front door. Tanker 74 and E-73 arrived pulling two additional 1 3/4 lines. The fire took approximately 40 minutes to bring under control. Total manning of 50 personnel and total loss estimated at 300,000. Station 80 filled in at Station 40.
